and experienced Christian Scientists who devote their full time on
a professional basis to the healing ministry of Christian Science.

Visiting Nurse Service
Christian Science visiting nurses are experienced Christian Scientists
who have been trained to provide all kinds of in-home, non-medical physical
care for those relying on spiritual means for healing. He or she is an experienced
Christian Scientist prepared to provide skillful physical care and spiritual
reassurance consistent with the theology of Christian Science.
Christian Science nursing does not include any form of medical treatment,
such as diagnosing, drugs, or therapy.
Their services include:
Cleansing and bandaging wounds
Baths, shampoos, and nail care
Nutrition guidance and assistance
Daily care
Quick response to emergency calls
Assistance in locating: Private-duty nurses, Care Facilities, Home Assistants

Christian Science Nursing Care Facilities provide for the human needs
(nursing services and facilities, as appropriate) of individuals while
they are seeking healing through reliance on Christian Science.

Committees on Publication
Committees on Publication are members of The Mother Church (The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston) throughout the world who are appointed to provide accurate information about Christian Science to the publicincluding the media, educators, and legislators. Anyone may contact the Committee for his or her jurisdiction (state, province, or country) by phone, fax, or e-mail.

Chaplains
Christian Science chaplains regularly conduct services at local penal institutions and provide free Christian Science literature to inmates. Chaplains are also available for one-on-one visits with inmates and to provide prayerful support as requested. Schedules of services and information on contacting a chaplain may be obtained from the warden of an institution.
Christian Science Organizations on Campus
Christian Science Organizations on College Campuses are formed by and for students throughout the United States. These groups usually hold weekly inspirational meetings, as well as provide various opportunities to meet other Christian Scientists. (In addition, some Organizations maintain houses in which students can live with other Christian Scientists.) Each Organization has the support of a local Christian Science church and usually at least one non-student adviser.
