• The Christian Science Joint Media of Southern California hosts a 24-hr Bible Lesson phone line offering a weekly introduction and 6 button pre-selects representing each section of the weekly Bible Lesson.

The local broadcast of the Radio Sentinel may be heard on two local broadcast sources:

• KIRN, 670am at 7:00 a.m.  each Sunday, and

• KVTA, 1520am at 9:00 a.m. each Sunday.  Simulcast streaming over the web is available at   http://www.kvta.com/

• El Heraldo Radio Broadcast, KHJ, 930am at 7:00 a.m.  each Sunday

These broadcasts provide thoughtful interviews that explore and explain how people are discovering God in their everyday lives.

The Christian Science Joint Media Committee's Mission

To provide a "clearing house" and information service for activities relating to Christian Science in the Southern California Area, including, but not restricted to the five counties under the jurisdiction of the Christian Science Joint Media Committee's mandate and bylaws "to place before the public the words "Christian Science" in a way that will attract, bless, and heal mankind." The thrust of Christian Science is spiritual healing, based on the words and works of Christ Jesus and Biblical principles. Christian Science was founded in 1879 by a New England woman named Mary Baker Eddy, and its teachings are presented in her book, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.
